On September 27th, 2015, Ironman Chattanooga will be the ninth Ironman event in which Team ReserveAid is represented. This year’s Team will have two members racing at the event.
Mike Tokar is an experienced runner who transitioned into triathlon just a few years ago. Mike will competing in his 2nd Ironman in Chattanooga after tearing up the Ironman Mt. Tremblant course in 2014 as part of Team ReserveAid.
Eric Bachman will be competing in his first Ironman in Chattanooga after overcoming his “inability to swim a single length of the pool” just last yr. Eric has completed 2 Ultra-Marathons and several Duathlons in his athletic career, but tackling the 2.4mi swim to start the Ironman will be his biggest challenge to date.
This team continues to be inspired by the men and women of our military who have a much harder task than simply swimming, biking and running. But, our team is certainly putting their bodies on the line and all they are asking of you is to support their efforts by making a very large (or small) donation to ReserveAid on their behalf.
