Executive Director

Polly Weidenkopf

Polly Weidenkopf served 27 years in the U.S. Marine Corps. During that time she served at Headquarters Marine Corps in Washington, DC as and administrative clerk in the office of the Assistant Chief of Staff, Intelligence and in the Office of the Commandant of the Marine Corps. She then served as the Marine Liaison at Bethesda Naval Hospital. After which, she served as the Administrative Assistant to the Commanding Officer of Armed Forces Police – Washington. After being discharged from active duty, she joined the Marine Corps Reserve in 1976 and became the Reserve Admin Chief at AT(TOW)Co Light in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, where she served for 14 years. In 1990, she relocated to Dallas and became the Reserve Admin Chief for Marine Aircraft Group 41. She retired in 2000 at the rank of Master Gunnery Sergeant. She currently serves as the Marine Corps League Department of Texas Adjutant/Paymaster.

Her awards include the Meritorious Service Medal, Navy Marine Corps Achievement Medal (3 awards), Meritorious Unit Commendation Medal, Active Duty Good Conduct Award, Reserve Service Medal (5 awards) National Defense Medal (2nd award), Armed Forces Reserve Medal.

She is married to Major Nicholas Weidenkopf USAF (Ret) and has four sons and eight grand children.

Lucas Detor

Lucas Detor is a Managing Director at Morgan Stanley where he co-runs the distressed debt effort. Lucas served in the U.S Army reserves and the New York National Guard for six years. He has a great deal of passion for Reserve Aid’s mission and feels blessed to be able to serve those who serve us.

Colin M. Adams

Morgan Stanley & Co. Inc.

Colin is an Executive Director at Morgan Stanley where he is a legal and credit analyst focusing on distressed debt. Prior to Morgan Stanley, Colin was a Partner at Kirkland & Ellis LLP.

Colin received his J.D. at the UCLA school of Law after receiving an A.B. in Economics and History at Duke University. Colin currently resides in Manhassett, NY with his wife Sarah and their four kids Sofia, Pierce, Oliver, and Henry.

Mori S. Gonzalez

JPMorgan Chase & Co.

Mori Gonzalez is an Executive Director at JP Morgan in Credit Markets / High Yield Trading. Prior to JP Morgan, Mori spent 12 years at Credit Suisse First Boston also in High Yield Trading.

Mori became a believer of this noble charity dating back to her first invite to the Second Annual Reserve Aid Dinner and has since become an integral component as part of the team that puts together the annual Gala event. She is a proud to be on the board and supporting the men and women of the United States Military.

Justin Bradburn

Justin is a graduate of Southampton University in Britain, where he received his BSc in Biochemistry and Physiology and was a British Army Cadetship Scholar. Prior to his career in finance, Justin served as an Officer in the Princess of Wales Royal Regiment, a British Army Infantry Regiment for nine years. His service included several counter terrorism tours in Northern Ireland.

He currently resides in New York City.

Michael Henderlong

Morgan Stanley & Co. Inc.

Michael Henderlong is a Managing Director and currently Head of New Product Development for Morgan Stanley’s leveraged loans and distressed business. Prior to his current position he was North American Par Loan Sales Manager at Morgan Stanley.

Michael graduated Magna Cum Laude from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (ERAU) in 1991 with a BS in Aviation Business Administration (and holds Pilot Certificates). In 1994, he graduated Summa Cum Laude from Fordham University’s Graduate School of Business with an MBA in Finance.

He serves as a board member for the both the Loan Syndications and Trading Assoc. and ERAU’s Industry Advisory Board.

Chris Mawn

Highland Capital Management

Mr. Mawn is a Managing Director at Highland Capital Management, L.P. in the Retail Products Group. Previously at Highland, Mr. Mawn has served in roles as a Director, Trader of high yield bonds, leveraged loans and other credit products, and as a Portfolio Manager in the Distressed and Special Situations Group covering distressed and special situation credit and equity investments. Prior to joining Highland in December 2003, Chris worked for an international management consulting firm, focusing on M&A growth strategy, strategic planning, post-merger integration, reengineering, cost reduction, and organizational design across a number of industries. Previously, he worked at a large Fortune 500 IT Services Company in sales and marketing, and later corporate strategy. Formerly, Mr. Mawn served as an Officer in the United States Marine Corps attaining the rank of Captain. He received an MBA in Finance from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a BA from Dartmouth College. Mr. Mawn currently serves on the Board of Directors of Lake Las Vegas Holdco.

Evan Odim

Citigroup

Evan Odim is a Vice President at Citigroup. He trades for the Citi Principal Strategies group where they focus on a variety of asset classes including credit, equities, rates, and options. Evan’s step-brother is a Sergeant in the Army currently stationed in Germany after having served two tours in Iraq and one in Afghanistan. Having never served in the Armed Forces, Evan supports the cause as a member of Team ReserveAid.

Evan currently resides in New Jersey with his wife, Sarah, and two daughters, Jamie and Joslyn.

Laurent Renard

JPMorgan Chase & Co.

Laurent Renard is an Executive Director at J.P. Morgan. He currently trades high yield bonds and credit derivatives in the High Yield Trading Group. Prior to J.P. Morgan, Laurent served in a similar role at Morgan Stanley. Laurent received an MBA from MIT and a BS from the United States Military Academy. He served five years as an officer in the US Army with assignments throughout Germany, Italy, and the former Yugoslavia.

Gabriel Szerda

Macquarie

Gabriel Szerda is an Associate Director on the Principal Trading desk at Macquarie Bank.

Gabriel received his BS from University of Maryland after retiring from freestyle wrestling. He represented Australia at the Sydney 2000 Olympics. Currently resides in NYC with his wife Julia and daughter Sienna.

Mike Scotti

Severe Clear the Movie, LLC

Mike Scotti is the author of the upcoming book The Blue Cascade: A Memoir of Life After War (to be published May of 2012) and the subject of the critically acclaimed, award wining documentary film Severe Clear. He is a veteran of both Iraq and Afghanistan, where he served as a United States Marine.

Mike is also a CNN Op/Ed contributor. He holds an MBA from NYU Stern School of Business, where he founded the Military Veterans Club. He is represented by Erin Cox at Rob Weisbach Creative Management.

Netty Tsai

Morgan Stanley & Co. Inc.

Netty Tsai is an Executive Director at Morgan Stanley in Fixed Income Sales for ten years. Prior to this, she worked at Merrill Lynch. Netty received an MBA from Columbia University Graduate School of Business and a BA from Skidmore College. Netty has been a strong supporter of ReserveAid since its inception.

John Withrow

Macquarie

John Withrow is a Managing Director at Macquarie Bank, where he runs a Principle Trading desk focusing primarily on trading credit products. John has never served in the military but both of his grandfathers and many of his friends have served.

John holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Master’s Degree in Bioengineering from the University of Pittsburgh as well as an MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business. John lives in Scotch Plains, NJ with his wife Jessica and their two sons, JT and Luke.
